ccAdvertising Applauds New FCC Rules
Washington, D.C. - Wednesday, February 15, 2012 - ccAdvertising welcomed the Federal Communications Commission announcement today harmonizing its telemarketing rules with the policies of the Federal Trade Commission regarding how they will regulate automated telemarketing.
The new rules do not affect ccAdvertising's business model of conducting "Artificial Intelligence Call" (AIC) calls for its political and market research clients.
In his statement regarding the new regulations, Commissioner Robert M. McDowell made it a point to state, "I also recognize that, in an effort to harmonize our rules with the FTC's rules, our Report and Order is appropriately narrow in scope - limited to telemarketing robocalls. Our changes today do not affect current requirements regarding informational calls or calls involving charities or political speech."
"The FCC's announcement does not affect any of ccAdvertising's business models, efforts or clients. We have not and will not engage in telemarketing using our proprietary "Artificial Intelligence Call" (AIC) and Email to Text (ETT) technologies. In fact, we believe these new policies, when enacted will result in our clients seeing even better response rates to our surveys," Gabriel Joseph, President of ccAdvertising, said.
About ccAdvertising - ccAdvertising is a privately-held, data-base company headquartered in Virginia using a proprietary survey technology. Its "Artificial Intelligence Call" (AIC) system allows ccAdvertising to ask multiple questions to which the responder gives voice answers rather than an alternate technology, which uses telephone push buttons to indicate the responses. ccAdvertising is scrupulous in its efforts to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
