Alabama - Gubernational & Senatorial Primary Elections
On Sunday, May 18th, 2010, ccAdvertising completed a statewide survey to 20,000 homes in Alabama regarding the upcoming Primary Election scheduled for June 1st, 2010. The homes used were from ccAdvertising's nationwide database of landline and mobile phones and were distributed evenly by population density. 2,813 homes participated in this survey.
Roy Moore holds a five-point lead in the Republican Primary for Governor of Alabama but still faces a potential run-off election without a majority victory. Republican Primary voters clearly favor Moore at 32.30% over Bradley Byrne at 27.30%, Tim James at 27.16% and 13.24% undecided.
If the election were held today, Roy Moore would not win a majority of the vote, but instead would face either Bradley Byrne or Tim James in a July 13th Run-Off Election.
Alabama conducts open Primaries, meaning all voters could participate in the July 13th, 2010 Run-Off Election.
