  ccAdvertising Survey - October 22nd, 2010
On Friday, October 22nd, 2010, ccAdvertising completed surveys to landline and mobile phones regarding competitive Congressional races in Alabama, Georgia, Hawaii, Maryland, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania.

  Alabama - 2nd Congressional District (Roby-R +8.39%)
In the race for Congress, Republican Martha Roby has an 8.39% lead over incumbent Democrat Bobby Bright. Roby received the support of 43.87% of respondents while Bright received 35.48% and 20.65% were undecided.

President Obama's favorability rating stands at 29.45%.

When asked party identification, 51.47% of respondents are Republican, 23.78% are Democrat and 24.76% are Independent.

In addition, the survey measured voters' preferences on recent national issues. Support of the Tea Party movement is at 31.43% while 75.46% believe that Congress should repeal the healthcare bill, 79.69% of respondents are pro-life, 88.39% are traditional marriage supporters and 85.03% are Second Amendment supporters.

Demographically, of all the survey respondents asked, 45.94% are male and 69.70% are 50 years of age or older. 1,934 respondents participated in this survey. The margin of error is +/-3%.
  Georgia - 8th Congressional District - (Scott-R +9.51%)
In the race for Congress, Republican Austin Scott has a 9.51% lead over incumbent Democrat Jim Marshall. Scott received the support of 45.44% of respondents while Marshall received 35.93% and 18.63% were undecided.

President Obama's favorability rating stands at 38.26%.

When asked party identification, 44.92% of respondents are Republican, 30.50% are Democrat and 24.58% are Independent.

In addition, the survey measured voters' preferences on recent national issues. Support of the Tea Party movement is at 27.11% while 66.50% believe that Congress should repeal the healthcare bill, 73.55% of respondents are pro-life, 83.02% are traditional marriage supporters and 82.02% are Second Amendment supporters.

Demographically, of all the survey respondents asked, 50.34% are male and 62.89% are 50 years of age or older. 2,446 respondents participated in this survey. The margin of error is +/-3%.
  Hawaii - 1st Congressional District - (Djou-R +8.76%)
In the race for Congress, incumbent Republican Charles Djou has an 8.76% lead over Democrat Colleen Hanabusa. Djou received the support of 43.82% of respondents while Hanabusa received 35.06% and 21.12% were undecided.

President Obama's favorability rating stands at 47.93%.

When asked party identification, 33.88% of respondents are Republican, 32.41% are Democrat and 33.71% are Independent.

In addition, the survey measured voters' preferences on recent national issues. Support of the Tea Party movement is at 13.56% while 48.74% believe that Congress should repeal the healthcare bill, 55.66% of respondents are pro-life, 62.53% are traditional marriage supporters and 52.94% are Second Amendment supporters.

Demographically, of all the survey respondents asked, 50.25% are male and 61.44% are 50 years of age or older. 2,747 respondents participated in this survey. The margin of error is +/-3%.
  Maryland - 1st Congressional District - (Harris-R +23.55%)
In the race for Congress, Republican Andy Harris has an 23.55% lead over incumbent Democrat Frank Kratovil. Harris received the support of 54.35% of respondents while Kratovil received 30.80% and 14.85% were undecided.

President Obama's favorability rating stands at 35.12%.

When asked party identification, 53.10% of respondents are Republican, 26.66% are Democrat and 20.23% are Independent.

In addition, the survey measured voters' preferences on recent national issues. Support of the Tea Party movement is at 29.00% while 70.98% believe that Congress should repeal the healthcare bill, 62.22% of respondents are pro-life, 72.99% are traditional marriage supporters and 77.23% are Second Amendment supporters.

Demographically, of all the survey respondents asked, 51.66% are male and 68.10% are 50 years of age or older. 3,559 respondents participated in this survey. The margin of error is +/-3%.
  Minnesota - 1st Congressional District - (Demmer-R +3.48%)
In the race for Congress, Republican Randy Demmer has an 3.48% lead over incumbent Democrat Tim Walz. Demmer received the support of 40.99% of respondents while Walz received 37.52% and 21.49% were undecided.

President Obama's favorability rating stands at 44.18%.

When asked party identification, 40.00% of respondents are Republican, 31.71% are Democrat and 28.29% are Independent.

In addition, the survey measured voters' preferences on recent national issues. Support of the Tea Party movement is at 17.67% while 57.34% believe that Congress should repeal the healthcare bill, 69.21% of respondents are pro-life, 71.71% are traditional marriage supporters and 68.50% are Second Amendment supporters.

Demographically, of all the survey respondents asked, 44.85% are male and 64.32% are 50 years of age or older. 2,598 respondents participated in this survey. The margin of error is +/-3%.
  Pennsylvania - 15th Congressional District - (Dent-R +18.22%)
In the race for Congress, incumbent Republican Charlie Dent has an 18.22% lead over Democrat John Callahan. Dent received the support of 48.19% of respondents while Callahan received 29.97% and 21.84% were undecided.

President Obama's favorability rating stands at 41.77%.

When asked party identification, 45.00% of respondents are Republican, 32.66% are Democrat and 22.33% are Independent.

In addition, the survey measured voters' preferences on recent national issues. Support of the Tea Party movement is at 22.06% while 61.38% believe that Congress should repeal the healthcare bill, 60.05% of respondents are pro-life, 65.22% are traditional marriage supporters and 70.59% are Second Amendment supporters.

Demographically, of all the survey respondents asked, 51.44% are male and 62.81% are 50 years of age or older. 2,472 respondents participated in this survey. The margin of error is +/-3%.
