ccAdvertising Survey in Virginia - September 27th, 2010 |

On Monday, September 27th, 2010, ccAdvertising completed
surveys to voters in four key Congressional districts in Virginia. These
surveys focused on the competitive Congressional races as well as
current national issues. The surveys were conducted to both landline
phones and mobile phones.

Virginia's 2nd Congressional District - (Rigell +14.1) |

Republican Scott Rigell has a commanding lead over Democrat
Glenn Nye in the race for Congress of over 14%. When asked whom voters
will choose on Election Day, 48.61% are supporting Rigell, while 34.48%
are supporting Nye and 16.91% are undecided.Furthermore, President Obama
has 39.68% favorability in the district.
In addition, the survey measured voters' preferences on recent national
issues. Support of the Tea Party movement is at 24.44% in the district,
while 61.22% believe that Congress should repeal the healthcare bill,
63.65% of respondents are pro-life, 68.87% are traditional marriage
supporters and 70.36% are Second Amendment supporters.
When asked party identification, 44.14% of respondents are Republican, 25.03% are Democrat and 30.83% are Independent.
Demographically, of all the survey respondents asked, 47.68% are male and 63.20% are 50 years of age or older.
1,829 respondents participated in this survey. The margin of error is +/-3%.

Virgina's 5th Congressional District - (Hurt +16.4) |

In an election for the U.S. House of Representatives in Virginia's 5th
Congressional District today, Republican Robert Hurt would defeat
incumbent Democrat Tom Perriello by approximately 16%. A 51.11% majority
of respondents support Hurt while 34.74% support Democrat Tom Perriello
and 14.15% are undecided.Furthermore, President Obama has 41.32%
favorability in the district.
In addition, the survey measured voters' preferences on recent national
issues. Support of the Tea Party movement is at 25.73%, while 62.74%
believe that Congress should repeal the healthcare bill, 68.42% of
respondents are pro-life, 78.44% are traditional marriage supporters and
75.46% are Second Amendment supporters.
When asked party identification, 47.09% of respondents are Republican, 29.09% are Democrat and 26.82% are Independent.
Demographically, of all the survey respondents asked, 49.49% are male and 66.92% are 50 years of age or older.
2,679 respondents participated in this survey. The margin of error is +/-3%.

Virginia's 9th Congressional District - (Boucher +2.9) |

Democrat Rick Boucher holds a nominal lead over Republican Morgan
Griffith in Virginia's 9th Congressional District. 42.64% of survey
respondents support the incumbent Democrat while 39.72% support
challenger Griffith and 17.64% of voters are undecided. Approximately
17% of Republican voters have crossed over to support
Boucher.Furthermore President Obama has 39.50% favorability in the
district.
In addition, the survey measured voters' preferences on recent national
issues. Support of the Tea Party movement in the district is at 23.89%,
while 61.62% believe that Congress should repeal the healthcare bill,
72.27% of respondents are pro-life, 83.35% are traditional marriage
supporters and 80.55% are Second Amendment supporters.
When asked party identification, 41.63% of respondents are Republican, 24.88% are Democrat and 33.50% are Independent.
Demographically, of all survey respondents asked, 44.23% are male and 66.54% are 50 years of age or older.
2,423 respondents participated in this survey. The margin of error is +/-3%.

Virginia's 11th Congressional District - (Fimian +5.5) |

In Virginia's 11th Congressional District, Republican Keith Fimian has a
five and one half percent lead over Democrat Gerry Connolly. When asked
whom voters support, 42.19% favor Fimian, 36.68% support Connolly and
21.13% are undecided.Furthermore President Obama has 46.06% favorability
in the district.
In addition, the survey measured voters' preferences on recent national
issues. Support of the Tea Party movement in the district is at 21.05%,
while 50.37% believe that Congress should repeal the healthcare bill,
59.81% of respondents are pro-life, 60.48% are traditional marriage
supporters and 57.24% are Second Amendment supporters.
When asked party identification, 38.31% of respondents are Republican, 28.62% are Democrat and 33.07% are Independent.
Demographically, of all survey respondents asked, 49.29% are male and 50.70% are 50 years of age or older.
2,411 respondents participated in this survey. The margin of error is +/-3%.
