ccAdvertising has initiated a series of weekly surveys, to both landline and mobile phones, to gauge current levels of support for possible Republican presidential candidates. Survey respondents were evenly distributed nationwide by population density.

Since November 6, 2010, ccAdvertising has been tracking the support that Barack Obama has had nationwide for re-election as President. Surveys were conducted on a weekly basis, and Obama's support has ranged from a low of 37% to a high of 50% against any of a number of potential or real GOP Opponents.

On September 11-12, 2011, ccAdvertising conducted surveys comparing President Barack Obama to former President George W. Bush. 5,875 people participated in the survey. The following charts show the support for each candidate:

Demographically, of all respondents who participated in surveys conducted September 11-12:

  • 37.44% are Republican
  • 32.19% are Democrat
  • 30.37% are Independent
  • 42.82% have a favorable opinion of President Obama
  • 27.18% are supporters of the Tea Party
  • 85.87% are concerned about high gas prices
  • 74.55% support off-shore drilling
  • 15.95% are employed in the public sector
  • 37.38% are employed in the private sector
  • 23.99% are concerned about losing their job
  • 77.57% are concerned about the U.S. losing its AAA 'Best in the World' credit score.
  • 35.95% feel that they are better off now than they were four years ago.
  • 75.68% are anti-tax
  • 60.43% are pro-life
  • 63.67% are traditional marriage supporters
  • 64.08% support gun owners' rights
  • 46.70% use Facebook
  • 9.63% use Twitter
  • 44.26% are male
  • 62.06% are 50 years of age or older
